3 1959 98s in a yard.

Found 2 4 doors & one coupe. All are pretty well picked over or junk, should have got more pix, sorry. The coupe has the entire dash in it including radio & AC parts & the engine. Front seat still has plastic on it but the vinyl underneath it is not perfect. Going back tomorrow to buy a '75 Cutlass, let me know if you need anything.
Scott

One of them, I think a 4 door, had a bunch of moldings & trim in the trunk. I'll try to get more pix & prices tomorrow. One has the grill with the individual OLDSMOBILE letters. I started to pull them for wall art but noticed one O & a L were were missing already.

I could use one stupid glove box latch (attached by 2 phillips screws) and a breather tube/ canister assembly off that 394 located on the rear of the engine

I don't know where he would be on pricing but I have a friend that would really like to have that 4 groove crankshaft pulley, the 2 groove generator pulley and if by chance the 4 groove water pump pulley is laying on the ground, get it. If the AC vents come out of the dash and are not too much trouble to pull, he probably would like to have those.

I heard from my buddy with the 59 late last night. He is not interested in the AC dash outlets. He is interested in the pulleys and the speedo. If they have some decent taillights he would be interested in a pair of lenses.

Thanks

59,
I pulled the latch out of one of them today. I also pulled the cap/breather off one of the engines, is this what you need? If so $5.00 for the latch & $15.00 for the cap? Plus shipping?

Red,
I pulled the speedo, man what a patience tester that was!! $50.00??? I pulled the AC vents also to put on ebay probably. I found one good lens with just some minor stress cracks in it. $20.00?? Plus shipping on all.

Lots of good trim in one of the 4 door cars. Must be dang near 100 pieces of trim on a 4 door!! Glad I don't have to polish them.

One of the cars has a power bench seat in it, anyone interested?

Rocker panel trim pieces appear to be there but beat up a bit.

Thanks oldspackrat. I forwarded the link to this thread to my old buddy. I will get back to you as soon as I hear from him. Did you get a chance at the crankshaft pulley? Those 4 groove pulleys are pretty hard to come by.

Glad to hear it! After seeing these cars in the yard & looking up pictures online, I MUST have a '59, coupe, sedan, wagon, whatever!

I'm looking for the LH side 394 exhaust manifold from a dual exhaust '59 Super 88.
