Hi, All I bought a speedometer Autometer #1993 from Jegs I am going to try to attach it to the steering column ,Any Ideas I don't won't to make any holes one day It might get fixed but I'm told you have to take the dash out and I'm not up to that now,
In the old days they had a clamp you could mount on the Column I was going to wrap it in black and some attach it any ideas

You do realize the speedometer cable will likely be way to short if you go the steering column mount route, but if your determined to do this, see if you can exchange the Autometer 3 1/8 speedo for a 3 3/8 speedo and then buy a common 3 3/8 tach mounting cup, you'll have to drill a hole in the back of the cup large enough for the speedo cable nut to go through. Myself, I'd figure out a way to get the original speedometer working..........

 

Thanks I thought of that after I ordered the 3 1/8 ,the cable will work just enough room,I know it would be nice to fix it right but rt now is not possible,
