2K for re-stamped part!!!

This should be "for Octania's eyes only". A measly 2k and you can have this nice 1969 distributor dated 1974! You also get a free history lesson. http://www.ebay.com/itm/1969-Oldsmob...p2056016.l4276

He got this part wrong also, at least as far as the 1969 model year:

If you ordered your W-30 auto with P/B then you got a milder cam like the 70 W-30 auto cars.

Besides the hideously overpriced part, the "history lesson" is cribbed straight from the pages of 442.com, is riddled with errors and has absolutely no relevance to the distributor offered for sale.

Interesting sales technique.

Sadly, not particularly uncommon. More than once, I've seen an ad like this where the seller has incorrectly quoted something from the FAQ that I actually wrote. Invariably, the seller tells me I'm wrong.

I've stopped wasting my time with these jokers.

That seems like a good price for such a rare part. How many have typo's like that? Not many.

I believe my fake one has a dull common ordinary '69 date.

So, if that is 2k, then what is a complete motor worth? I have one but mine is original and has a correct date and is still bolted in the 400. Correct distributor, 400 with notched valve covers, 662 intake, and I think I still have the 29251 carb somewhere. Also have the original open face 1100852 alternator.

The more you buy the cheaper it gets, everyone knows that.
Things are worth more parted out.

Your pkg is only worth about $100 because there is so much there.

[awaits responses with bated breath] :-)

I was wondering how long it would take you to make one of your trademark facetious replies. You must be getting old, you were a bit slower than you used to be!
