Love it!!! I was a bit lukewarm to the C8 design but once I saw (and heard) this version I'm all in. I HPDE a C5 Z06 and it is so much fun to run at speeds in excess of 100 mph legally. I'd love to hit the track with this new model and wind it out! I realize that 670 N/A HP, 8000 RPM and speeds up over 150 are not for everyone but count me in. It's a shame that gm is going to turn it's back on this segment of our hobby.

I think they’re beautiful. First time I saw one of the c8’s I didn’t know what it was, and then I saw the emblem and thought “no way can that be a corvette.”

Front and rear are well done. Side was designed by a committee; they used everyone's ideas so no one would feel bad.

The C8 is pretty nice, exotic looking, but has a few angles that don't look all that great, like the C7. BUT THAT LT6 in the Z06! OMG, 2 HP / CI NA! FPC, 670HP, 8600 redline, dry-sump, DOHC, solid valve actuators, holy smokes. Highest output NA production engine in the world, EVER. What an accomplishment from the GM powertrain engineers! Better get one while you can, this will probably be the high-water mark for GM engines, period. I'm planning on getting a Z06 when I retire in a bit over a year, probably a MY '24. Hopefully any bugs will be worked out by then and the waiting list will be much shorter.

Love the new C8. Pretty darn fast on track. Faster than my C7 with the same driver. Rear engine drives way different. Gotta drive it like a Porsche 911 on track. The Z06 will be a beast on track. But I can’t stomach the price your gonna have to pay. Not the sticker which is reasonable for what you get. The price your gonna have to pay after mark up by the dealer or a flipper. I’ll wait that out.

I choose the color. Take one in a heartbeat. Best Corvette ever made. I love so many years.

Performance per dollar = homerun.

However, I've not yet decided if I like the looks of the C8. Partly due to the fact that most of the C8's around here are already "modded" with led lights and two-tone body color matched wheels.

Not sure I can get pass the look of the car. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Normally, I like difference. But this one is not doing anything for me. Speed wise, bring it on!

It looks OK, about the best you can expect from GM these days. This dealer mark up BS is plain ridiculous. The manufacturers actually release models for an actually attainable price, the dealership steps in and say wait a second, this can't be right, add 20K. With this vehicle shortage, it makes it an absolute nightmare and now common place.

Hell of a good time

Went to the corvette museum in bowling green last year drove a new C8 4 laps around the track this car had a Holley prototype exhaust awesome sound best 300.00 ever spent we were at the Oldsmobile nationals so it was kinda on the way . That was fast enough for me but a Z06 would be a bucket list item

I saw a little clip on Instagram of Emilia Hartford revving one up. Leave it to GM to screw up a flat plane crank exhaust note. Ferraris and Frod Coyotes sound correct. The new vette snap, crackles, and pops it's way through the rpm range like an old man trying to get out of an Adirondack chair. Sad.
