Hoping all the Olds folks will pass the word.. with a hotel adjoining,and trailer parking on site, we're hoping for some new faces and cars..
While it'll be a one day show this year, we hope to ramp it up for next year, if all goes well.

 

Wasn’t this like a 2 or 3 day show originally? Or am I thinking of another Olds only show in Pennsylvania?

 

That was the plan, a mini Nationals so to speak but things had to be scaled back due to the virus and uncertainty...

 

I received my flyer this week as a member of the Delaware Valley Oldsmobile Club. The Atlantic Northeast Zone Show and Swap Meet is Saturday, October 10, 2020, starting 9:00AM-3:00PM. Group room rates are available.

 

Yes, we are going to try for the show. With all restrictions, we cannot host a banquet and decided best not to do OCA judging. Hopefully next year we can have the full zone show, but for now our plan is to do this scaled back version. Hope to see you there!

for the racers out there..Maple Grove Raceway is about 15 minutes away... I think their website says no spectators at this time, but they are doing some kind of racing that weekend.. not sure what kind though..

 

What do they mean that they are awarding winners by popular vote?

Typically this means those that have a car entered in the show get a vote in each class and best of show, no voting for own car... As far as vendors I don't expect many.

 

We hope to have some vendors, but make no guarantees. Joe is correct on the voting, same as our normal Fall show in Downingtown. We hope to do a full show with judging next year.

Show a go! Note is only a one day show. Hotel rate past, but hotel still has plenty of rooms. Pre-registration also past, but can register day of show. There is another event (gun show) occurring at the auto mall that weekend, but is the other side and should not affect our show. For our show, please turn after McDonald's and towards the hotel. Show, swap and trailer parking will be at the north east corner of the complex parking lot. Please if possible bring your regitraration form pre-filled in, will help with registration and social distancing. We will be parking every other parking space for distancing as well. Masks are required. Be safe and hope to see you on Saturday!

 

Note we also have swap meet spaces. Oldsmobile or automotive related preferred. No for Sale Cars though (Classic Auto Mall rule) So if you still have stuff from Carlisle, or since Hershey was cancelled, consider coming to our show! $20 for 2 parking spaces.

Do you know the current number of preregistered cars?

 

We have about 25 pre-registered cars and 3 vendors, which is more than typical for our Fall show. Though I know of probably at least another 25 cars that have said they are coming day of show, plus another couple for swap meet. Weather is looking good, so probably at least 50, hopefully closer to a 100. We have room for at least 150 no problem. We are taking both cars and swap spaces day of show, so come on out! We ask that you print out and pre-fill in your registration to expedite entry and limit interaction for registration.

Great weather. Great location. Great show with tons of gorgeous cars! Thanks for putting it together. That was the first time I have been to the classic auto mall. The place is awesome. Who would think of buying an abandoned shopping mall and completely filling it with classic cars for sale? Amazing!

 

Thanks for all that came out, helped and sponsored to make this an overall successful 1st OCA Atlantic Northeast Zone Show and Swap Meet! 79 wonderful Oldsmobiles representing various years and models along with several swap meet spaces and met lots of Oldsmobile enthusiasts. We hope to do it again next year and hopefully under more normal circumstances and will be bigger and better!

It was fun to see that white 66 Delta 88 there. It was a standard shift/3 on the tree car!!
