1st car show/cruise night

Hello everyone! I just wanted to share my enjoyment with you. We took our baby to it's first show and had a great time. It's just a local get together at Skips in Merrimack, ma and over 400 cars showed up. The cars and people were amazing. I'm proud to say we were the only one with a 67 442 present. The car is looking great but after seeing so many beauties I know what needs to be done next. I need to find a shifter, console and a little more dress up to the engine compartment.
Bye, Sue

I am glad you had fun. It is nice not to have a car that looks just like everyone else's.

Good to start them when they are young! I went to my first show of the year Saturday morning. It was a 69 and older show at a local VFW hall. It was really nice, I was just hoping it would be a lot of older guys with some pristine rides, turns out it was about 80% younger guys and gals with their "rat rods", all rusted to Hell and fabbed up with crap they had laying around their backyard. Don't get me wrong, I think they are cool pieces of artwork, and the greaser chicks are pretty hot, but it was alittle much. But hey it was free!

Went to a decent "spring dust-off" yesterday, saw some pretty nice cars..should have brought my camera. A very nice '69 W30, black on black 4spd, real nice. a sweet '59 88 and a '57 Super 88, both nice cars. There was a '70 W30, appeared to be Galleon Gold, with black stripes and interior, auto trans that I have seen there before. After a couple of hours he left, and nailed it out on the street, you could hear the engine roar and the tires spinning for traction when they finally started to squeal! Yee haw.
