1988 Cutlass Supreme speedometer needle missing

Hello all, my husband and I are new to the forum, and are enjoying reading everyone's advice and comments. I have learned more than expected in just one week.Olds and Buicks have always been my favorites. My question is regarding a 1988Cutlass Supreme Classic we are considering buying, the speedometer needle is completely gone, is this an easy and inexpensive fix? Price of car is only 6750.or is it more trouble than it is worth? I would greatly appreciate any advice. Thank you.

IMO, that is a very easy and inexpensive repair.... Simply replace the entire speedometer cluster with a used one..... 20/30 minutes labor and about $10/$50 for a used speedometer unit... possibly locate one in a local salvage yard, other wise there are plenty for sale on the internet.... for example.....
