1984 Delta 88 pics

My sister came down today, and I snapped a few pics! She doesn't think it's pretty enough, but it's an Olds, and all Olds' are beautiful!! She's an oldie but a goodie! has 68,000 miles on her. My sister also has an 85 Delta with 389,000 miles on her, and she still runs like a top!!!!!

The sisterhood of the traveling Oldsmobiles sounds like a good title to me

Now all she has to do is find a replacement wire wheel disc on the drivers front that's not Buick. 68k on a 25 year old car? That's crazy talk. She should paint it and put in Barrett Jackson. People are always asking where low mileage cars come from.

Tweety made me say that....

The sisterhood of the traveling Oldsmobiles!! I like that!!

Yea, I took that Tweety picture cause Wolfman and I were talking about Tweety floormats and such on another thread the other day. I was telling him that my sister has all sorts of Tweety stuff in her car! LOL, she gets on my nephew all the time for putting things on her cars that aren't Oldsmobile!! He just laughs and says, "it works, doesn't it?" She was widowed a few years ago, and not left in very good financial shape, so she doesn't complain too much. She says "I don't want to show it, just drive it!" As you can see, my nephew has done some patching on it - keep the bad spots from getting worse until she can get some work done.
I wanted to clean it up for her over the summer - detail it some and make it pretty, but we just couldn't get together. Probably because I was at car shows every weekend! LOL That is on my to do list this next summer, though. That chrome will shine when I'm done with it!!
