After I changed the plugs Wolfman.

I have always had a clicking noise from cylinder number 6. High or low RPM. Camshaft may be a bit rounded on that cylinder. Be that as it may i think it may be crappy plug wires. I am still investigating.

I'm getting carbon deposits on my new plugs. Looked it up and it may be a electronic choke issue. Where do I adjust the air - fuel mixture on this engine? I have a Quadrajet carb. Not sure of the model. I know the car has been running rich for a while now even before these new problems.

My best advice would be find someone local who knows how to adjust them and ask them to help you. Than have them explain what they are doing.
