1978 88...Help me find some wheels!

I'm looking at a 1978 88. I have not seen it in person yet but hopefully this weekend I will.

Going by the ad it looks pretty darn good EXCEPT.....20" spinners and new tires.

Is there ANYONE willing to trade stock wheels (steel, doesn't have to be SSI II or III) and tires with at least 70% tread) for these wheels? Here is a link to the ad so you can see the wheels. They are the ONLY thing holding me (and the wife) up from trading it for it. I might just say screw it but I'd like to check out here in the forum world first.

Thanks, Paul

Looks like a nice ride. I just bought an 85 Delta 88 with the stock steel wheels, wire hub caps and good tires. Will be looking to upgrade to some Olds rallye wheels and I would sell what I have if you are interested. But, I'm with you, those 20's have to go! Good luck with your decision.

15x6 wheels show up in the boneyards as they were used in the 70s and 80s on a lot of GM cars. I have found nice ones here in the southwest but shipping would make them cost more. . .
Get the car and the wheels will appear this spring

You'll need to know if it was a 350 or 403 car to start as the 350 cars generally used 5x 4-3/4 BP and all 403 cars used 5x5. Some 350 cars with HD suspension had the 5x5 BP.

Just plain steel wheels would be an improvemrnt, even the old Ansen slot mags would be better.
I might even say Chebby impala wheels would,--- on second thought forget that thought.
