Have a 455 in my boat and just replaced the heads. Got her all back together and have a slow drip out the right rear head freeze plug. Having trouble locating freeze plugs for the heads. Any idea of a source? Rather not go to rubber expanding type.

They should have freeze plug kits at your local auto parts store.

If the heads were freshened up, I'm surprised the plugs weren't changed, but nevertheless, you should be able to get a plug at most any auto parts store. The head plug size is 1 1/4"

Thanks guys. The heads were gone over. Two valves replaced but otherwise in great shape. They were just reworked for a jet boat that threw a rod thru the block on its first day out. Even the freeze plug looks in good shape despite the drip. I was able to get one at the local autozone. They're system said they didn't have them for a 455 but they had a loose selection including the brass 1.25 x .40
