I don't have the info for '74, but I do for '73, and it was probably not a lot different between the two years.

The 442 package for '73 included the following.

1. Body side and deck lid decal.
2. Rocker panel and wheel opening moldings.
3. 442 radiator grille.
4. Special hood with black hood louvers.
5. Grille and deck lid numerals.
6. Heavy duty front and rear springs and shocks.
7. Front and rear stabilizer bars.
8. Heavy duty rear suspension upper control arms.
9. 14 x 7 wheels.

The 442 package was described as an "appearance and handling package," and I would say that 1 through 5 were the "appearance" part while 6 through 9 were the "handling part." The package was available with any engine, and it was available on the Cutlass and Cutlass S, but not the Cutlass Supreme.

I am only asking as I am looking at one and know nothing about this year. What kind of value for a running, needs paint ,dash pad is bad, door panels bad, needs carpet. Car looks solid on body but has a skim coat of body putty in both clips but no dent,no rear clip replacement seams. Are dash pads available?

A true 74 442 or Hurst/Olds uses the F37 base Cutlass header panel, headlights and bumper with 442/Hurst specific grilles even if it is a G37 S car.
