1972 Cutlass Wiper Blades

I have the "hidden" wipers on my 1972 Cutlass Supreme and need to replace the wiper blades. What brand do you all suggest?

Thanks

Six of one, half-dozen of the other. They're all about the same except for price. I've stuck with Trico all these years just because they're a known quantity.

You'll have to get the whole wiper blade assembly. No one makes refills any more. Odds are good they won't be shiny like the originals either, since all I see any more are black.

Trico Classic ones. They still have the metal area and are like the original ones.

Rock Auto might have the refills. I bought a bunch for all my vehicles years ago, but I don’t know what’s available these days.

You can see the different lengths here:

You should be able to get the refills at your local auto parts store.

Rock auto effing sucks on this refill. Do not get the Trico select a size, that metal frame has to be solid to fit the blade holder. Those trico select a sizes flew apart on the first stroke, damn near destroyed the windshield. I heard Napa classic has something.

That classic industries looks promising.

I bought a set of the trico 33-162 replacement blades with the “Vintage Silver” metal arms. They were nice and shiny but did not match the original finish.I ended up moving the new rubber blades to the original arms. If your arms are in good shape just by the refills.

All the ones near me stopped selling refill inserts and now only carry individual blades, I guess since new cars have different sizes right and left.
