I owed this car from 2002 until I sold it to Jim. I did the restoration and in the dismantling of the car found the following:
Business Card for a Tuxedo Shop in Rochester Michigan
Drive in Movie Ticket for Detroit Drive in, Admission $1.50
Business Card for Merolis Chevrolet, Wayne Wunderlich, Sales Rep
Congressional Parking Lot #5, Washington BC, 1973
These several pieces led to the conclusion the car spent its early life in Michigan. The car sometime in its life prior to the restoration had all passanger side body panels replaced with GM parts, there was no NCIB report showing an accident claim.
Welding used was brazing, not tig or mig, which was consistant with body shop repair in the early 70's.
Could this have been a GM exec car, linked to Rochester. Body repair ourside of insurance would have been consistant with fleet repair procedures for most companies.

Now I'm blushing. I know a little about 66's and very little about 71 W-30's. I think Paul probably knows those cars better than anybody.

Jim Bob
Mike Bob---Jim is a great guy and I love him to death but he was the worst helper I ever had . You would think his Dad owned the place or something :-) Seriously though , His Dad was a prince of a man and Jimmy followed right along in his footsteps. ----- Danny Bob
