1971 442/Cutlass Radios
U69 is the AM FM non stereo option, and, like the man said, it was available in 69 and not in 70 or 71. It was, however, back for 72. It's worth noting that the multiplexer unit was in the radio case for 72 and not separate. I believe this allowed both options to be easily listed again. I would not fault OP for putting a 72 mono unit in a 71 especially with Olds's weird speaker layout.
Thanks for your responses. Does anyone in our community know an individual or a shop where I can send my '71 AM/FM Stereo Radio for repair. The fuse at the fuse box is good. I'm not getting any power or lights in the radio, nor do I hear any crackling. I also described the issues I'm experiencing with my radio in the electrical section. Thanks for your continued help.
