Why is it every W-30 from 1970 that's Viking Blue has white stripes? I prefer the black stripes! Does anyone have production numbers on Viking Blue cars with Black vs White stripes?

Production records of those combinations weren't kept, unfortunately. Very few 1970 cars should be Viking Blue. It wasn't offered until 1971 except on Toronados. Special order was possible though.

The white stripes pop on blue. My 72 442 has a black interior and white OAI hood and thin side stripes, as shown on the build sheet.

Yeah I'm just not a white on blue fan! No offense as yours is still very nice! I'd like to find a blue with black stripes, black interior and 4spd with SS1s.
