This past weekend there was an air show in West Houston, and I thought it would be cool to take a few pictures of my survivor F-85 W-31 next to a couple of planes. So, drove down, and asked if they didn't mind if I toke a couple of pictures. Here we go...

Great shots! Love those old planes. Pretty partial to the Olds as well.
Do you have any more pics? I can identify the second pic as a Lockheed C-60. I see the T 28 has been identified. Thanks for all those that served.

You know its not too crazy to think, a navy pilot could have once owned this car. I know, a little far fetched.
Who needs a heater in Hawaii?
I understand heater delete was a little harder to get in the coming years after 70.
Regardless, thanks for posting up.

The car was sold new in Honolulu at Aloha Motors, and was on jack stands for over 30 years before I bought the car; I am the second owner. Car currently has 44,000 miles, and yes, I do need polyglas tires...Car still has the original Firestone in the trunk that has never been mounted.

Stopped to visit Joe in 2011 on my way to OCA Nats. and Hot August Nights car show in Reno, Nev. He also has a very nice and fast W31 4 speed hardtop. Unloaded my F85 W31 from my enclosed trailer and took some picture of all three W31 s. I also let him drive my F-85, the only person who has driven it besides me. That is how much I trust Joe..............!
