I once bought a reman alternator that had the big washer on the wrong side of the pulley, which threw the alignment off by just enough to make the belt roll over at high RPM.

 

19 70 cutlass 350??_sorry, but did anybody see the distributor cap?? This is not a 350 v8 in this vehicle

Awesome, showed my Wife, she was pretty some people at her work would use the key cleaner. She also said it could be a screw driver cleaner. Where should I start, pretty sure that is an Olds 350 2 barrel and this thread is 4 years old.
