The dipstick tube attached to the 70 455 is loose or broken. How do I fix or replace. Really hard to get at.

 

The exhaust manifold has to come off to replace it. Then it's just a press fit with a replacement tube.

 

Getting the old one out can be tough sometimes, I have found that if you a 5/16 fine thread tapered bolt and screw it in and a 1 lb slide hammer attached it will come out, 5/16 box end wrench slipped over the new tube and tapped lightly with an extension and small hammer will install it very nicely.
