No, the information he posted is correct. The GM OAI were fibreglass over steel liner. That price is darn attractive for an OEM. Looking at the pictures, it will need to have the wire mesh screen tac welded back over the air box. Nice find.

Totally the wrong year for me. If you see a 71/72 OEM W25 hood floating around on CL for the same kind of $$, LMK. thx

 

uhhh I would advise see'ing this in person.

 

Seller lowered price to $700.00 on C/L, so I drove the 2 hours to see it this morning, the seller was super nice and willing to negotiate even more. As bad as I want an original hood I did not make the purchase, pm me with your email address if you want to see pictures.
