That's the idea. Adding items that weren't available but making them look factory is part of the fun I have with my cars. The Olds where's a Hurt dual gate that looks like it was born in the console, wasn't easy to pull off and still have reverse lights and neutral safety switch but it was worth it.

Thanks man. I joined here long before the HAMB but forgot about it for a decade or more while building hot rods. Otherwise, I would have used the same user name. Major Tom reminded me of Bowie's Space Odessey and Elton's Rocket Man. BanditBilly wouldn't have had the right Oldsy sound to it.

 

And done. I drove it to the office today. Loving the pins and the stripe.
