Try Instrument-Specialties.com. They restore the faux chrome stuff from 60's-70's muscle cars

I am going to say probably not, as it is attached to the duct behind it.

I've got a 68-69 dash up in the rafters. I'll try to get at it and take some pictures of how the vents are attached to it.

I'm certainly no expert here but if you take a flashlight and look inside the vents, you will see small screws that hold the vents in.
I believe the cloth tubes are held on by staples and I don't remember if the center vent is stapled or not. I would use a magnetized nut driver on
the screws as to not lose them. A 69 chassis service manual would be your best friend here though. Good luck.

I can tell you the non-A/C vents come out from the front with two small screws.

As the other guys said, you can access these from the front. Shine a flashlight and you'll see two little bolts that a 1/4" socket will fit. They are located at the 3:00 and 9:00 O'clock positions. I just checked a 1969 Vista Cruiser with AC and the two end vents are attached this way. This leaves the rest of the duct work attached but will removed the piece with the adjustable fins.

Maybe some additional clarification. There is a molded plastic housing that is rectangular shaped and very thin in section width. You can see it in the above photo. The adjustable vent does NOT attach directly to the dash pad. It sits in this plastic piece. The vent itself can be removed from the front. In theory, this molded plastic piece can be removed from the front as well but here's my experience (sorry, no photos); the dash pads tend to 'relax' over time so the corners in the vent hole aren't as crisp and clean as they were when new. Most of the time, this plastic piece (with sharp corners) is pinching the pad in the corners so, if you do try to remove the plastic from the front, be extremely careful you don't damage the dash pad's vinyl covering. Sounds like all you want to do is remove the vent and not the plastic rectangular housing. Be careful but it's not too difficult a job.

69 H/O ac vent grilles

Thank you acavanaro I know this isn't going to go easy & looking at it hard looks like it wouldn't take much to crack the actual vent the grill rests inGuess have to work like a neurosurgeon & not a Bull in a China Shop lol

Either the Fisher Body Manual or CSM has clear instructions on removing the dash parts - including the adjustable vents. Not sure if you have those but they're a big help in doing this kind of thing so you don't damage or break something trying to figure it out.
