1969 H/O in Forza 4 Video Game
I'm not sure on here who plays video games or not, but I had seen a post about yesterday the Driver game. I love the Forza game series due to it's realism and customization. You can tune and customize every aspect of a car down to tire pressure. It's quite an amazing game. But in the last three games there has been a lack of Oldsmobiles which has left me with an empty feeling in my stomach. But Forza's developers announced that Forza 4 will contain the 1969 H/O 442!

"Forza Garage:This tire-melting monster's Dual/Gate shifters and gold pinstripes mean it can only be one thing: the 1969 Oldsmobile Hurst/Olds 442, brand new to Forza.."

Its pretty amazing, they really dug deep into muscle on this one. They went as far as to add the AMC Javelin, 71' Mach 1, 71' GTX, 70' Buick GSX (what what WHAAAT?!?), and this 69' H/O 442. That 442 REALLY scoots. They did a great job of capturing the reality of what it is and what makes it a different animal than other A-bodies. It feels heavier and bulkier than the Chevelle but it definitely is a torque MOUNTAIN. Me and my friend couldnt stop chuckling when we first played it and every single turn in this thing was a drift, no ifs ands or buts, it was a car you HAD to drift because those rear tires only hook after 50mph. They put a lot of detail into this, even went as far as to have it stock as a 3-speed (as per the Hurst dual-gate). It is one of the torquiest cars in the game (stock) and as for the muscle cars i think theres only one other that matches its torque. The specs are 384hp/500tq, 3,855lbs. Even beats the 455 SD-T/A by 20tq. Even beats out the Hemis. The Chevelle matches it at 450hp/500tq, and the AC Cobra 427 matches it as well in torque. But when you start upgrading it the torque on this H/O just flies past them.
Its a blast to drive! Its one of my 2 favorite cars to drive in the game. Its 2nd to the 71' Hemi Cuda. Haha, sorry guys, i do love that Cuda but this H/O is amazing and a clooose 2nd. Love it! They did an amazing job with it, lots of detail, especially in the driveline
