on the convertible or S coupe how many individual pcs of chrome wheel molding were used for the 4 wheel openings? was it one pc for each wheel?

Wheel well molding

I believe there were two versions of the wheel well moldings in 69 - one that went on the edge of the wheel well and one that was set back from the edge by an inch or two.

The 68/69 convertibles interchange and used a one piece stainless steel molding per wheel.

Correct.

The Supreme had the 'set back' pieces that also didn't go all the way to the bottom of the panel so they'd line up with the low horizontal pieces.

The 'S's & 442s had the pieces that ran along the lip of the wheelwell all the way to the bottom of the panel with no horizontal pieces.

For the S/442, there's 1 piece per wheel...and they're all unique to their corners...

I think you're asking if each piece is unique to each wheel. Yes, all 4 moldings are different
