Hey guys I'm working on a 69 Oldsmobile Cutlass I'm getting ready to install the chrome moldings that go on the fender the door and below the quarter glass I have a new clips and was wondering how to go about to install these I assume the fender is easy cuz the clip has a nut on the back side and reach up under the fender and install but the door in the quarter glass area have the stud sticking out what's the correct way to pop those clips on there do they go in the molding first do they go on the door first what's the best way thank you

 

 

The clip goes on over the stud and gets captured. The molding then slides along and meets up with each new clip. Screws are used at the ends (you can see the heads when the door's open).
