1969, 442 Alternator

1969, 442 Alternator

I just bought a re manufactured alternator and on the back are 2 flat terminals marked R and F.
The 2 wires are RED and BROWN which one goes were ?

The plug only goes in one way.

As you are looking at the rear of the alternator, the brown wire goes on the left terminal, red on the right.

I hope you didn't turn in the original as a core...
