1967 Toro Torque Converter Switch Pictures
Hello,
Looking for pictures of how to connect the linkage rod from the carburator to the torque converter switch. Any photos would be greatly appreciated.
In this case, a picture is worth a thousand words!
Thanks,
Tom

I have the 1967 Chassis Service Manual and there is nothing there.
I think I need a 1967 Toro owner to pop the hood, take off the air cleaner, snap a few pics, and post or send them to me. Any help is greatly appreciated!
Thanks,
Tom

I think I'm looking in the right places but don't see what I am looking for. Let me try asking another way. On the carburetor linkage, I need to connect the throttle, the cruise control, and the kickdown switch rod. What holes/locations do I use for each connection? Again, a picture of a correct set-up would be worth 10,000 words to me.
Thanks,
Tom

Without seeing your set-up I'm going to take a wild guess and say you have the incorrect throttle lever on your carburetor. The Toro throttle lever is different than other Olds for that year.
I had a similar issue on my '66 Toro until I found out the carb was from another Olds product and the throttle lever didn't have the attachment points for the kick-down linkage. Luckily the fine folks on this forum provided me the correct lever which just bolted right in. As a reference, I attached a thread I started several months ago with a call-out for the correct lever. You'll find some decent pics showing the lever along with the linkage connections.
