1967 Cutlass Supreme Trunk Lid Retainer

I have a 1967 cutlass supreme and the rearend of the car is being repainted. The shop broke the trunk lid cylinder retainer. I have checked the usual candidates such as Fusik, Oldsparts, OPG and Year One. Everyone has the 1968 through 70 and no one seems to have the 1966-67 retainer. Is there anyone out in Oldsmobile land that can point me in the direction of a new or used one. Thank you!

That shouldn’t be a hard part to pick up at any vintage salvage yard. I imagine all GM A bodies had the same?

Maybe Thorntons? I believe they do restorations and probably have one laying around they could sell or give you.

Some cars (like Pontiac A-body cars) had the lock cylinder in the tail panel, not the trunklid, so no they are not all the same.
