1967 442 instrument panel restored by Ron Roth rroth01

Hey everybody, I wanted to show off the instrument panel Ron restored for me. I feel like a kid on Christmas morning! He repaired cracks in the plastic, then had it replated. After that he painted the portions that needed painted. This is what I needed to get my project car on the road! Check out the photos

It just hit me ..You are a column shift...Sorry about that.I will send a Console bezel off to plate and exchange it for you.I also have a restored AM radio as part of the package.
Have fun in Reno.
Looking at the box ..I am suprised it is in one piece.

I think he is refering to the dash emblem '66 (442) vs. 67 (442 w/ROCKET) ??

There is a difference in the wiper or headlight switch hole. One year is deeper than the other, I think.

The dash Badge is from a 66 .It was the only one I had .
Our motto is "If its in stock..We got it"
Now do you you want to solve the puzzle or buy a vowel.
The gauge bezels are the same ,with exception to Console or Column Shift.
No PRNDL on the Column Shift
The 67 Wiper well is deeper than the 66.
See what you started John?

Ok,beings we're playing games,can you or anybody else tell me the difference between a 66 & 67 Jetaway column shift indicator? I'm talking about the actual plastic lens,not the plastic bezel? I know the 67 turbo lens/indicator is different but for the win,what's the answer to the above question.

Sorry Mike, I don't know the answer to your question

But I do want to say I'm very happy with the dash. It may have a 1966 emblem in it but that will be fine until I come up with a nice 1967 one. Otherwise it does have the deep wiper switch hole so that part is correct for the year. So... continue having fun but I think the dash is perfect for my car John

You should be happy with the dash,it looks great and I wasn't knocking the emblem,just wondering if you knew the difference. I guess I could have worded it a little better,kinda sounded like I was knocking it,sorry.

66 = N D is closer together
67 = R N is closer together

67 with T400 has DSL or D2L, I forget which and my "dials" (as the clear plastic inserts with numbers/letters were called by GM) aren't accessible right now.

Thus why your son said he knows the turbo-400 dial is different.

It has an S.

Here is another stumper to add to the thread hi-jack. How many different dash plates are there for a 65.

<Begin Shameless Plug for Ron Roth>

Gotta 3rd, 4th and 5th the work that Ron does. Just received mine over the weekend. It's BEAUTIFUL. If there's one investment you can make to make your ride better, it's the IP. After all, you look at the damn thing every time you're in the pilots seat right?

Ron asks a lot of questions to be sure he's getting you the right stuff before hand and the total time to get mine was less than a month!

Now I just have to wait for it to cool down to do the work (it's 101 degrees in KC today).

I am bummed if no one is making these. I looked on eBay and cannot find. I cannot find the one for 68, but I see a company that makes for 68.

The 67 one looks cool.

Another masterful job Sir Ron Roth! You should be "knighted" -- if not "ignited"?
or "annointed"?

The rocket ralley pack is not something you're going to just find. It comes up every six months or so on Ebay. I was collecting parts for my 442 for a while before I found the one I have, and I don't have the harnesses or senders yet.
