1967 442 hood

My 67 442 hood is short on the radius in the front of the hood. The hood radius is different than than the fender radius. The fenders don not have the extensions, mine are 1 pc fenders. The hood install went reasonabily good but I can't get the radius to match. I suspect that the hood has been damaged and I am wondering if anyone know the proper and correct way to correct my issue. Also there is a small difference from the left ( the worse of the two ). The radius seems to be flatter on the driver side.
Thanks

Never seen a one piece 67 fender. Care to elaborate?

The fenders 66 67 are the same just different extensions that bolt on.

X2, although not a 67-442 hood should look like this all lined up.

Sounds like your fenders and radiator support are not square with the body. Can you post pictures of what your dealing with including one with the rear of the hood closed against the defroster vent grill.

1967 hood

My bad guys, you got me thinking, so I went out and checked, the fenders DO indeed have the extensions, the owner before me aparently filled the seams with BONDO. Now I'm wondering if the left side has the extension for a 66. I know the 67's are longer.
I would love to meet the IDIOT that had this car before me. Wrong hood, wrong grill, under the dash looked like a 10 yr old with a pair of wire pliers had been under there.
Everything else on the car shows a real 442.
Thanks for the help.
Keith

66 and 67 extensions are definitely different in shape and length and the 67 hood will not in any way match up if there is a 66 extension on the fender. How about some pics so we can decifer what the problem is.
