Does anyone know the proper size of the fusible link between the wheel well junction block and the alternator/voltage regulator? I was told by an alternator/starter repair shop it has to be as high or higher than the 55 amp alternator. I have an old 67 chassis manual, and the wiring diagram in section 12 shows the link an it even shows how to install a new one (soldering), but no mention as to what size? Searched forums for fusible links and it was mentioned but no answer. Did see "iirc 60a" on one post as a question but no one ever answered? Don't want to have a harness fire or, God forbid, worst.
