1965 jetstar1 how many are on the road today?
I've got one and am debating selling it as is or completely restoring it. It runs and drives with the origional 425 and 400 tranny. I could see it go across the block at a mecca auction. It's red. Trying to see others opinion on how much interest a completely restored 65js1 would bring. I'm not into the car much pricewise, I pretty much got it as a gift from the origional owner.

Here is one just one thread where the OP goes through the same basic drill of fishing for a buyer while avoiding posting an asking price:
1965 jetstar 1 red no ac with radio and 400 tranny - ClassicOldsmobile.com
I use the words "just one" because a moderator has historically removed several of his threads for doing the same thing.

To answer the original question, there is no way to know how many are on the road today. Historically for cars from the 1960s, 20 years after production there are 0.5% to 1% still registered, and the curve tends to flatten out after that. Note that this is an average across all models and body styles. More-doors and wagons tended to be scrapped at a higher rate than were more desireable versions. For example, today at least 120% of all W30s ever made still survive.
And also note that I said "still registered". There is no way to know how many unregistered ones are still sitting in barns and garages.
