1965 Cutlass

Hi, I'm new to the group......I recently bought a fairly nice 65 ( it doesn't look like it's been extensively restored) that has disk brakes, were they a factory option? Also it has an Am Fm radio, could that be stock? It's a factory air car with HO 330.

Welcome to the site! I'd encourage you to create a post in the newbie section introducing yourself and posting pictures of your car.

The disc brakes were not available in 1965, but the 67-72 disc brakes will fit on the 64-66 A body cars. I don't know about the AM/FM so someone else will have to comment on that.

From: S.E. Louisiana, so far still in U.S.A.
In 1965, the "A" body only had the AM radio available as option U63 (list $65.64). The "B" body had the AM/FM radio available as option U69. In 1967 the "A" body had the AM/FM radio available as option U69 for the first time (list $133.76). In 1967 the "B" body had the AM/FM stereo option (U58) for the first time in addition to the AM/FM.
