Can anybody tell me is the 4 bl carburetor on my 330 4v 290 hp different CFM wise or whatever from a 1964 442 B0-9 engine?? & yes I do know that the major difference btw both engines was the CAM. Just wondering because the engineering drawings from Olds (Assembly - Service - Inspection & Fisher Body manuals) don't specify
No difference in CFM. The only differences in the 1964 330 carbs is in jetting for AT vs MT. The AT cars got carb # 7024054, with 0.056 primary jets and 0.078 secondary jets. The MT cars got carb # 7024055 with 0.057 primary jets and 0.080 secondary jets. This info comes from the Rochester Big Book O' Carb Data.
That’s why Joe is so Smart, he’s had a lot of learnin.
All kidding aside, I had a teacher in grade school who pointed out to me that intelligence isn't memorizing facts, it's knowing how to find information.
Hi Joe thanks for the explanation on the carbs AT & MT BUT one last question I've been looking for a 64 cutlass power bucket seat COMPLETE Frame with Everything right down to the side switch + All wiring even the fender wall 40 amp connector Doesn't matter if it works or not as long as it's complete & not broken - is the 65 & 66 the same?? & Are the part numbers the same just wondering? Or like all things 64 it's a 1 year thing
1964 and 64 A-body power bucket seat tracks are the same P/N. 1966 is different because the seat frames are different starting that year. Note that only the driver side bucket was power operated from the factory. Also note that if you are converting from manual buckets, the brackets on the floor pan will be different for the power adjuster.
