1964 data plate accessory code

One of the AACA-Buick guys is trying unsuccessfully to decode ACC code U on a 1964 Skylark data plate. Bound to think all carlines used the same codes. Any ideas?

Actually, Glenn, some of the ACC codes varied by division. For example, Chevy used ACC codes to denote certain performance options (yeah, wouldn't that have been nice...). In this case, a U in which group? For Olds I've got that a "U" in Group 1 was the rear luggage compartment lock on wagons. Obviously this would only apply to a wagon, so if that's a 1U on a non-wagon Skylark, then it shows that the codes are defined differently among the divisions.

For completeness:
2U is stereo tape player, which for Olds was only available in 1967 and only on the full size cars that year.
3U shows as the trailering harness, but that is unverified
4U is the spare tire lock
5U is currently undefined

My Olds parts book only goes back to 65 and everything in U option list is radio, courtesy lights and trailer wiring related.

Sure was hoping you'd know. I figured you'd have the info if anyone here did. Guy has apparently exhausted Buick references.
