1962 Starfire engine angle
1962 Starfire engine angle
1962 Starfire
At what angle/degree should the engine/transmission be when in the engine bay swinging from the overhead hoist and bolted to the frame at the front mount.
The reason I'm asking is that I am installing my Ross 394/700r4 conversion might have to do some tunnel work plus make a new crossmember.
Thanks

You will need to modify the crossmember as well as modify the rear motor mounts to fit.
I don't think he had to modify the floor pan, but it was close.
61 and 62 are the same underneath,

I reinstalled the rearend in the same position as I removed it. So when I install the engine I can set the tail shaft at 3 degrees from 0 degrees and be in the ballpark. We'll give it a try.
