I've been searching the internet, here and the HAMB with no luck. Maybe I'm using the wrong keyword.


I'm looking for exterior trim clips for my 1955 Olds 98. These clips are for the trim pieces that go behind the front bumper, on the corner. I think they're also for the chrome piece that goes on the hood, on the lower lip.


The only think I've been able to come up with is the restoration clips from Fusick. The bad thing about them is they're $3.50 a piece.


My question is: can I get this clip from somewhere else or is there a similar clip that would do the same thing? Thanks for the help, and sorry I'm a cheap bastard, lol.

Also if you can't get them from the above post take a sample to a local fastener store (Fasenal) and see what they have. Most of these type stores supply the local body shops and have a good supply of all kinds of clips.... Tedd

 

Thanks for the replies! Apparently I did a bad search of eBay. I scooped those clips up. If I need anymore I'll heed your advice and check a fastner shop.
