I am having issues with my hood, where the chrome hood lip trim is. It is bent forward and It looks like the inner hood brace is rusting out? Is there a way to replace this or fix it? or do I just need to get a new hood? Any help would be great!

 

Could you post pictures? Some of the members here who are good with bodywork may be able to give you some advice if they could see some pictures. If your hood is too far gone to repair I've got a parts car that may have a better hood. What part of the country (or even which country!) are you located in?

here are 3 pictures of the car, as you can see the hood lip chrome is tilted out and needs to be bent back. I have a replacement piece of chrome as this is not the correct piece. I am worried about taking the old one off and replacing it due to all the rust etc.....
