I am new to the forum , can anyone tell me what the cowl tag on my 1955 Super 88 means?
Style 55-366sd?
Body BK 11232
Trim 381?
Paint no t41-60
Any help would be a appreciated.

I think you're missing a number on your "Style"...is it 3639 sd?? Four door Holiday sedan? (Deluxe Holiday)

BK 11232 is the Body number (seqential) and BK is where it was built (should be a code in the service manual - don't have mine in front of me)

Trim 381 is the color combination of your interior but you need a dealer showroom book to figure that out - I don't have one.

Paint 41-60 is Polar white Upper; Panama Blue Lower. Are you sure the "t" is not an "S"? "S" indicates a "Special" 2 tone in which the upper nose and roof would be white and the lower half and trunk would be blue - a 'regular' two tone would be only the roof is white and everything else is blue.

Thus highlighting once again why people should PHOTOGRAPH their body cowl tag and post that instead of trying to copy down what's on the tag and reproduce it here. So much gets garbled in the process!

Your right I missed a 9 I think on the Style 3669 I'm not sure about the paint number. Thanks for the help.
