1972 Cutlass Alternator

My 72 Cutlass 350 A/C calls for a 55 amp alternator. I can buy either a 55 or a 63 amp. Is there any reasons for or against getting the higher output amp?

Well mine came with a 37 amp, but I put in a new 63 amp and it works just fine.

Thanks. I'll go with the 63 amp.
