To install a modern radio in your car, about the only thing you can really use is the yellow 12V switched power wire that powered the original radio unit. Everything else- memory power, speaker leads, antenna- needs to be wired separately.

If you don't want to cut up the dash, I think someone is repopping factory 8-track player housings and setting them up to mount DIN chassis stereo units.

There is a single plug with three wires that supplies the power:
Yellow - ACC hot
Grey - Dash lights (from dimmer)
Black (or was it brown?) - Ground

Depending on what sort of radio, if any, was in your car from the factory, it may have a single speaker in the middle of he dash, one in front and one in back, or two in front and two in back. Each type will have a different wiring harness and different wires, but you probably don't want to use them.

As stated above, I used the original power wire from the stock radio, and tapped into the fuse box for my constant 12v memory power. Tied the gound wire to chasis.
