Rally Pack - How Do You Remove The Center Escutchon On The Gauge Face? Help!

I'm refurbing this OE rally pack and want to change out the center "button" looking thing. Before I really tear it up, can it be removed and how???

Unbend the crimped areas holding the black ring on the front, remove the screw on the bottom & fasteners on the back. The whole assembly will slide out easily then. The center part has 3 little legs that are just bent over if I 'member right. Easy peasy.
