Wiper motor & pump

Well guys I'm back for help again.
In process of trouble shooting my washer pump. I have the entire motor removed and on my bench.
My issue is that I cannot get the motor drive shaft to run more than maybe 1/2 turn then it shuts down and I have to let it set for maybe 5 minutes before I can get another 1/2 turn. I have not got any action out of the pump but the solenoid is actuating but no pump action. Pump inop was known at vehicle purchase, but wipers worked fine
I have 12 vdc connected to terminal 2 per CSM Fig 12B-3 and ground connected to motor body.
Pump is jumped from terminal 2 to pump terminal and ground jumped back to terminal 1 & 3 of motor.
What am I doing wrong?
I'm attempting to use the CSM section 12B as my guide.
I know that I've been asking for a lot of help on my 442 and I appreciate your help.
Thanks
Jerry
PS I ordered LED 194 bulbs for my dash light issue

Well folks, since I haven't got any help with my wiper motor issue, I'm asking if anyone knows of a source that can repair/overhaul my motor and install a pump kit.
I have finally got the motor to run, but after about 15-20 seconds I have smoke from 20 ohm resister so I guess that I have screwed it up while trying to test it or else it was that way prior to me "working" on it.

I've used Steve Hackel in Illinois. He's a pro at rebuilding wiper motors. Fees are in-line with most others offering the same service.
