Windshield wiper help

My windshield wipers don't work in my 62 f85. I got them to work if I held the washer button down but now I don't get anything. I used a voltmeter to check the terminals at the wiper motor and when the key is on all 5 terminals have power, when the key is off none have power. Bad switch maybe?

I'm not familiar with the wiper system on a 62, but if its anything like the later cars you should have system voltage on the yellow wire, and the other wires lead to the wiper switch which provides a ground to the various motor windings. If all the plugs are unhooked the yellow one is the only one that should be powered. I'm guessing since all the winding share a common power source thats the reason all wires show power. I would start by getting a factory service manual and study the wiring diagram and trouble tree.
