very reliable advise / information

thanks guys again for reliable information..... i perused classic oldsmobile a couple of weeks ago on an electrical problem that i was experiencing with my 70' 442. what was happening is when i used the turn signal, either side, the opposite brake light would not light when the brake was applied.
the string mentioned that most likely the turn signal switch was the culprit...turned out it was. it's not easy getting the wiring harness removed, but, with some patience it finally slid in where it belonged. and wah-lah --fixed. thanks guys....

dal442, thanks for acknowledging the help you received here. There are lots of guys on here with lots of knowledge they are willing to share. I wonder what the cumulative years of Oldsmobile experience are represented on this board.
