vacume hose

I SEE NO ONE RESPONDED TO OTHER THE POST, MY QUESTION IS THE VACUME HOSE UNDER THE DASH BOARD ,THE BLACK HOSE ONE HAS A GREEN ON IT THE OTHER IS YELLOW STRIPED,IF ANY ONE CAN DIRECT ME IN HOW TO REHOOK THEM, I WOULD BE GREATFUL , THANKS

You need to get a factory shop manual....it will tell you. If I had a 72 do you think I would crawl under the dash and remove AC ducting to answer your question?...Probably not.

I ~think~ the black and green one goes from the AC control to the outside air door (behind the kick panel.) Not sure on the yellow one.
I will check my manual when I get home and send a post the next day (no internet at home).

Yes, having your own manual is a great instant-access source of info on your car. A small investment for sure. Repro copies are available from lots of places. I got a good used original at factoryautomanuals.com for 50 bucks, the price of a part that I broke because I did not know how to remove it... <eyes rolling>

Here are some pics from the 72 service manual. Black and green went to the center of the fresh air door under the right kick panel. Black and orange (May look yellow??) goes to the side of the same air door diaphragm. Both of these go to the A/C controls.
