My dilemma is I bought a 79 cutlass supreme brougham that is a total waste case under the dash! Splices for alarm system and stereo wires every where! The damned car will not start and I need to replace the entire harness! Can anyone tell me if the harness from a 1980 will work or an 81 These 79's are a bear to find and I am on the poorest man budgets! Thanks in advance for your assistance!

Or, you can just get a schematic and trouble shoot the ignition circuit with what you have. I have in the past run into the aftermarket alarm relays going bad and not being able to start the car. You might start there.

Thanks I will try that but I am sad they cut the original harness as bad as they did!
