Turn signal switch - tilt vs. std.

I was told that the turn signal switch for a '67 with tilt column was the same as a standard non-tilt column. I need to replace mine, but when I went searching for one, every reference I can find specifies "w/o tilt". Are they the same?

You don't need to worry about that as much as whether you have a Delco or a Boyne switch. The factory parts book application shows:

Grp 2.895 67-68 F85 all w/Delco switch 7800482

Grp 2.895 67-68 F85 all w/Boyne switch 7805675

The Delco switch is white, the Boyne is blue if that makes it simpler. Parts book makes no distinction between tilt/non-tilt for F85/Cutlass applications.

Thanks for that info. Any idea what the difference is between the Delco and Boyne?

I ran across one post here where someone inferred that the only difference is the harness plug, so I was wondering if the wires could be disengaged from one plug and inserted into the other.

The tilt wheel you have has a white switch therefore Delco. Fusick offers the switch:
http://www.fusick.com/catalogdownload.htm
D6211, p. 43, $53. I don't know if ACDelco still offers it; check local and internet sources.

Since tilt and non-tilt are the same, you could use a good switch from another column. The only thing wrong with your tilt column's switch is the hazard flasher part.
