Turn Signal Flasher - LED Compatible

Hi All,
Im attempting to switch my front turn signals to LED (all my other bulbs/headlights are already LED). With the current stock flashers, the LED’s are not operating correctly and my assumption is that the power draw is less, resulting in the flasher not being compatible. Any suggestions as to what type of flasher I should look for and from where?

I’m pretty sure this is the flasher I used on my car. You will need 2, one for the turn signal, and another for the hazard lights.

LED's will not work with the OEM style flasher. It takes an electronic flasher and they are available on eBay. The reason why the LED's won't work with the OEM type is,the OEM works off current draw and the LED's do not have enough draw to activate the flasher. There are different style electronic flashers but I used a solid state unit in my 66.

Might be just my end but I didn’t see a link or a picture for your post to what you’re referencing. I found a cylinder style 2-blade flasher for LED’s with a separate pigtail for a ground connection. Think I could use two of these to handle the turn and hazard lights?

Exactly. When I first found the electronic flashers is when I started towing a trailer. Because the old flashers worked on current draw the lights flashed very fast. So got one for towing, electric flasher, fixed the problem. Well I also put led bulbs in the blue car and had to get an electronic flasher for it also, works fine now.

I’ve used the one in your picture multiple times and it has worked great.
