Trunk light??

Trunk light??

Can some one tell me if a trunk light for a 71 cutlass goes on the driverside?I also was wondering the correct location to clip it?Thanks Mark!!

On my 71 conv. it is located on the driver's side hinge. A switch is moved by the hinge turning on and off the light as the trunk opens and closes. (this is just a theory on my part because mine does not work)

X2, Drivers side trunk hinge pivot box. I am sure someone will have a photo, like Rob.

Just remember, the bright zink mounting bracket is for convertibles. The hard tops do not require this mounting bracket, it just slides on.
